Friday Friends - Dusty Divas Part 5

It's Friday again and that means another opportunity to introduce a new Dusty Diva - this week it's the gorgeous Bri from Petaliferous !

I loved Bri's work so much that I asked her to make me a custom necklace
and I have decided that I really must have these earrings to match this great pair of shoes that I have and how stunning is this Bracelet ?

Thats probably enough about my wants - allow me to let Bri tell you all about her crafty goodness !

"Petaliferous" means to bear petals, and is a range of handmade jewellery I started in April 2009, after leaving a full time career in the environmental industry (as I wanted to do something more creative!).

Most of my jewellery is made from polymer clay, timber, resin and upcycled vintage components from my home in Melbourne, Australia. My style is a bit eclectic, I try to make fun, whimsical pieces with varying influences. Most of my ideas are based on what I’d like to wear myself!

Some items have retro influences (such as the resin bottle tops), some are more classic (rose cabochon range) and then there’s the more nature inspired (hand carved timber).
My style is also forever evolving and I’m always coming up with new designs and ideas to keep me excited about it all

Three and a half weeks ago I welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world, so I am looking forward to being able to continue and grow Petaliferous well into the future, whilst also being a full time mum!
